Chestnut Knob shelter to Laurel Creek

So, sleeping on the ridge on the top of a mountain looking over the valley seemed like a great idea when we set up our tents in the sunshine. Then the clouds rolled in and the wind picked up and we piled into our tents before the rain started.
It rained pretty much all night and was supposed to rain most of the day, but once again.... forecast was wrong. Pretty nice day for hiking. We found a nice quiet spot by a stream. We got in pretty early and set up and had a little time for socializing before bed. Last night sleeping on top of a mountain and tonight down by a stream.  Ah!
