Got moving early to get to Pearisburg around lunch time. My friend, Beth(trail name Dragon Lady) that I hiked with early on, lives near here. She is temporarily off the trail dealing with some foot issues. Met up with her and went to lunch. So fun to see her but a little strange, because she was in real life clothes!!! Cotton! And wearing make up and carrying a purse! It's really weird when you are used to seeing someone in the same clothes day after day! I meant to get a photo with her, but forgot. Oh well. She was great and ran several hikers around to resupply, dropped us back at our very skanky(not swanky) motel.
Cinco de Mayo so naturally had to go to a Mexican restaurant for dinner and drinks!
