Logan Brook to Potaywadjo Lean-to

Another beautiful day! And awesome trail!! We literally walked on a path through the woods for most of the day. Came to the stream that we were supposed to have to ford (meaning wet shoes again) and it was totally rock-hoppable. Dry feet... Day 2.
We came to Jo-Mary road. An old logging road. And to my utter joy and amazement, there was a truck with a past thru-hiker and his wife doing trail magic right there in the middle of the 100 mile wilderness!!! He had quite a trek to get in there, but he remembered from his own hike, how nice it would have been to  have had a cold soda there!! And it was great!!
Our food drop was also hidden nearby in the woods, so we walked 125 paces from the trail, turned right another 20 paces and there were our food buckets!
Fresh supplies!
Continued on and with the good trail, we had 23 miles done by about 6:00. Tired and hungry, but felt great to make some real progress today! Hoping for another good, long day tomorrow.
