Perham stream to Stratton, ME

On the trail by about 7:45. More big climbs today.  Over Spaulding Mountain and Crocker Mountain. Passed through the section that was the last completed section of the Appalachian Trail.

Another big milestone.... we finished the day with 190 miles left to go! Under the 200 mile mark!!! So hard to believe. We are all being super careful because it would be devastating to get hurt now!!

Ran into Shortcut today. I have not seen him since Grayson Highlands (Aka: Ponyville) clear back in Virginia!!

Finally saw a moose!!!!!! Yay!! Ok, so she wasn't on the trail, but standing beside the road. Works for me! They are strange looking animals!

Early to bed. More big climbs tomorrow and then a bit of a break in climbing. Pretty sure I've mentioned this every day for the last week..... but..... CAN'T WAIT :)
