About the time we got to Indian grave gap, temps dropped and wind picked up. We were going to camp there but it was like a wind tunnel . Mike was out of water and my hands were freezing. Campground down the road about 3 miles. Great plan. We hitch-hiked (my first time) with a guy named Jeremiah who took us down to rock creek campground. Just a few miles down the mountain and much better conditions. No snow and no wind. So, my latest suggestion for Al's trail name is 'Trail Boss' (think Curly in City Slickers) The saga continues...
